"Indignazione e spirito di fratellanza; in dialogo con S. Hessel e P. Ingrao"

Lingua: Italiano
Abstract: Review. Stéphane Hessel, a German naturalized French citizen, member of the Resistance and former diplomat, one of the drafters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, addressed the new generations: “Be outraged! Do not resign yourself to a society of consumerism and money!” Pietro Ingrao, former partisan of the Italian Resistance and former president of the Chamber of Deputies answered Hessel with another small, but substantial book: Indignarsi non basta! (Outrage is not enough!). This review offers a critical analysis of the relationship between Ingrao’s and Hessel’s works and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Hessel, S., Indignez-vous!, Indigène éditions, Montpellier 2010; Italian Edition: Indignatevi!, Editore Add, Torino 2011. Ingrao, P., Indignarsi non basta, Aliberti Editore, Reggio Emilia 2011. Key-words: universal declaration of rights; fraternity; studies of fraternity.
